Madu and Rada are back in action

Emirates Park Zoo lies adjacent to the resort and makes for an ideal setting for families to spend a fun and relaxed day. Quality time with the animals kindles an appreciation for wildlife and the environment amongst guests. The adventure created by Emirates Park Zoo is not to be missed by tourists and resort guests alike.

Thus, on February 16 2016, Emirates Park Zoo and Resort announced that the widely popular Elephant Encounter program at the zoo is back in function again. Guests can meet and mingle with Madu and Rada, Indian Asian Elephants who are the largest residents of the zoo. The program provided to participants with the opportunity to get close with the friendly, one-of-a-kind beings and additionally are allowed to hand feed them with the assistance of expert elephant keepers. The experience is backed by an informative and educational talk surrounding the elephants, which will conclude with an interactive session where any questions from the guests will be answered.

The 30 minute event occurs daily at 10:15 am, 4:15 pm and 6:30 pm respectively, and is scheduled for 7 days a week. The tickets are priced at only AED 40 and are free for children below the age of 5.
