World Wildlife Day at Emirates Park Zoo
May 27, 2016

Emirates Park Zoo and Resort took the lead with the World Wildlife Day festivities by choosing to celebrate with children and laying focus on education. March 3rd, officially recognized as World Wildlife Day, was also a lucky one for guests and visitors of the Emirates Park Zoo and Resort, as they received a 50% discount on the entrance tickets to the zoo. Additionally a highly entertaining and informative show was arranged for school children. The program had the official World Wildlife Day 2016 theme, ‘The future of wildlife is in our hands’ set by the United Nations.

“We thought it seemed fit to entertain and educate the leaders and game changers of tomorrow. The city children who live an urban lifestyle should not miss the opportunity to engage and interact with animals and be educated about wildlife. This World Wildlife Day, we will take our mission one step forward through this interactive program that we have arranged for the tots” stated the CEO, Ms. Aaliyah Hana. She further explained, “Our zoo encompasses numerous exotic animals that are rare and unique to our institution. This day is extremely relevant for Emirates Park Zoo and Resort as we take pride in our little but comprehensive expanse of wildlife.”
